In fall 2025, Impact Alamance partnered with the Alamance Community Foundation (ACF) to offer a total of $45,000 in 1:1 matching funds through DonorsChoose—a national crowdfunding platform that empowers local public school teachers to bring classroom projects to life. By contributing $52,100 to this initiative ($40,000 in the fall, $12,100 in the spring), Impact Alamance has helped to double the impact of individual donations, amplifying support for educators and students across the Alamance-Burlington School System (ABSS). 

 

This partnership reflects our commitment to educational equity and innovation. Matching funds have fueled a wide range of engaging classroom projects—from hands-on STEM and social studies learning labs to literacy initiatives that expand classroom libraries and spark imagination and critical thinking through reading. These projects not only enhance academic achievement but also create vibrant learning environments where students are inspired and supported.
