Built Environment: Investing in Vibrant Places

In 2025, Impact Alamance continued investing in healthy, active spaces that support community wellness across our county. We launched our Map of Investments—an interactive tool highlighting a decade of projects, from playgrounds and greenways to community gardens and outdoor fitness equipment. Use the button below to explore the map and see how we’ve partnered with local organizations to create vibrant spaces for all residents. This year, we added four new projects to our map: the Elon Skatepark, a playground at the Alamance Children’s Museum, accessible infrastructure at Cedarock Park, and new basketball courts in Mebane.
